Imposter Word Generator
Draw a single secret word and the hint that belongs to it. This is not a dealt round. It does not choose who is the imposter, pass a phone around, or run a vote. Use it to preview a category, to pick a word for a worksheet, or to show a new player what a card looks like.

What the draw shows
The word is the secret the crew would see. The hint is what an imposter would see only if hint mode is on. In a real round those two pieces are not on the same card. Crew do not see the hint. Imposters do not see the word. This page shows both so you can check that the hint is a loose link and not the answer.
Draw again to skip the word you just had, as long as the category still has another word. Changing category starts fresh. There are 678 words in 15 categories, the same bank as the game.
When to use this, and when not to
- Use it to decide whether a category is too wide before guests arrive.
- Use it if you need one example word while you explain the rules.
- Do not use it as the round. A shared screen with the answer on it has already ended the game.
- For a table, open the generator, set the players, and pass the phone.

Is this the full imposter game?
No. This page draws one secret word and the hint that belongs to it. It does not choose imposters, pass a phone around, or run a vote. When the table is ready, open the generator and deal a round. You can start that round in the same category.
Will the rest of the table see the word I just drew?
Only if they can see this screen. The draw happens in your browser and is not sent anywhere. Do not leave it face up on a shared table if you were about to play, or the secret is already public.
Can I choose the category first?
Yes. The menu lists the same categories as the generator, including Football. Draw again to skip the word you just had, as long as the category still has another word.
